Pure nostalgia and hip & happening meet each other in Rotterdam-Noord: a cosy working class neighbourhood that has evolved into one of the city’s most popular districts. No huge skyscrapers and futuristic architecture for this area, but unique pre-war buildings, picturesque squares, the atmospheric Zwart-Janstraat with its distinctive shops and loads of nice spots for a cuppa or a pint. A place where (vintage) design, food, drinks and fashion are prominent. And all this at a ten-minute walk from the city centre!

Pay a visit to the delicious French kitchen of Mevrouw Meijer. Or walk in at the cute Italian neighbourhood restaurant Tosca at the Brancoplein. The trendy cafe WES at the Benthuizerstraat is also more than worthy of your visit. And, being in the neighbourhood, the renowned Mediterranean Westerkaatje Noord is indispensable.

Health lovers will have a blast at Bertmans at the Zaagmolenkade and we are pleased to help tapas lovers find their way to Destino. Or settle down on the beautiful waterfront terrace of Lof der Zoetheid for a good breakfast, a delightful lunch or (other) sweet matters.
